25 mile 200" ROW will be worth TWO MILLION DOLLARS



Now we know why DOMINION has TOTALLY IGNORED the land owners
in Randolph County, WV. #1 is intelligence and #2 bribery.

Here are the answers:

"NO SURVEY PERMISSION UNTIL I SEE A MAP
AND YOU ANSWER MY QUESTIONS."

Standard response for FIVE months from dozens of landowners, 
since JUNE 2014, of the  majority of rural land owners in Mill Creek
and Huttonsville, WV to the barrage of letters and phone calls from 
Dominion Transmission and their surveyors Doyle Land Co.

This quote from Bob Orndorff, Dominion spokesperson does not ring true:



As leader of WV WILDERNESS LOVERS and in personal contact with
about half of these land owners - I know of TWO who have allowed surveying.

I am certain there are more but CERTAINLY NOT 75% [My Virginia counterparts are gathering stats also to disprove Dominions figures.]

DOMINION HAS CREATED shall we call "A NEW PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX" to bribe the Randolph County Commission, our elected officials.

I say with FIRM CONFIDENCE that the Dominion has NOT spoken with the
RANDOLPH COUNTY ASSESSORS OFFICE at any time not sent correspondence.
They have met privately with the Randolph County Commission.

Now that's alot of mula!!!!!

During the TWO YEARS OF HELL of TRAFFIC - DRILLING- BLASTING - 
200' CLEAR CUT OF FOREST LAND we read that DOMINION will graciously pay the COUNTY a $ 3,000. [Imagine if you will, life style for the residents
LIVING ON THIS LAND]

In 2018 once operational this "NEW TAX" will be $74,00.

The NEXT YEAR, 2019 when the methane is roaring at full speed and full capacity this grows to $250,000. In 2020 $1.8 MILLION dollars and in TWO YEARS it will be $2.15 MILLION.

So, the SAME 200' right of way 25 miles long through mostly private land is:

- worth condemning to seize for use
- worth a TWO year court battle to gain EMINENT DOMAIN for EACH PARCEL
- worth to the COUNTY a QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS in FOUR YEARS?

Interesting.

EMINENT DOMAIN is NOT automatic even if FERC does give the go ahead.
It means they CAN take the LAND OWNER to court with a JURY of 12 residents
to figure PROPER COMPENSATION - and now this is SO SIMPLER!!!!!

What's $2.15 million divided by 25 miles 
divided by 81 plots?

  2. Watch for bogus land surveys in which it is stated that a land owner's property was surveyed incorrectly and is really owned by an adjacent property. Work will begin on the re-surveyed property and it is up to the landowner to get yet another survey and go to court to stop the work. By that time the work has already been completed and damage done. This tactic has been employed recently in WV and it is widespread

    1. Macrol, can you be more specific? I am not sure I understand what you mean. They survey a neighbor's property and then go to work on yours and say, "Sorry, our mistake!" This has been done? I would appreciate it if you could clarify this. Thank you! JB
